We collect several types of information in order to provide and improve our Service:

  • Personal Information: Information you voluntarily provide to us, including your first and last name, email address, phone number, role within a school (such as student, parent, teacher, or administrator), and school affiliation. This is used to create and manage user accounts and enable communication within the platform.

  • Student and School-Related Data: Because Inscriti is designed for use by educational institutions, we may process student names, class or grade information, attendance records, and other school-related data provided by schools or authorized users. Such data is processed solely for the purpose of operating the Service.

  • User-Generated Content: Messages, announcements, posts, comments, and any files or attachments shared through the platform.

  • Uploaded Media: Profile pictures, photos, videos, and other images. This may include images of students, staff, or school activities.

    • Note: Users who upload media are solely responsible for ensuring they have the appropriate rights, permissions, and consents to share such content. Schools are responsible for ensuring compliance with their internal policies and applicable laws, including those related to student privacy and parental consent. Inscriti does not independently verify whether appropriate consent has been obtained. Uploaded media is used only to provide core functionality and is stored securely using third-party infrastructure.

We use the information we collect to operate, maintain, and improve the Service. This includes:

  • Facilitating communication between students, parents, and school staff.

  • Displaying user profiles, posts, and media.

  • Monitoring usage and performance.

  • Ensuring the security and integrity of the platform.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

  • To Provide the Service: We share data with schools and authorized users within the platform as necessary.

4. Data Ownership and Control

Schools generally control student-related data processed through Inscriti. Users retain control over the content they upload, including messages and media. Inscriti acts as a service provider and does not claim ownership of school data or user-generated content.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, including providing the Service, complying with legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing our agreements.
